Church of Earth Healing Year-long Shamanic Healing Apprenticeship begins July 11. This course is full. People interested in volunteering for a free healing session from the students during one of the trainings can contact Bekki for more information. The type of shamanic work available will depend on the class being taught.

Fundamentals of Shamanism Saturday and Sunday, August 9 and 10, 9 am to 4 pm On Zoom or in person, in Ithaca NY, with Bekki Shining Bearheart This course introduces the beginning student to the shamanic journey and answers the questions students new to the practice have. It or equivalent training is required for all advanced workshops. Bekki has taught this course for over 40 years. If this date does not work for you, other teachers she has trained will be teaching this course this year.

Singing Wolf, Listening Deer: Balance and Power in the Heart and on the Path Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9, 11:00 am to 7 pm On Zoom or in person, in Ithaca NY, with Bekki Shining Bearheart This workshop requires experience with journeying.

A Message from Rev. Bekki

It is with great sadness that I inform friends and associates, and other interested individuals, that Crow Swimsaway passed from this earth plane on April 7, 2018. Crow enjoyed phenomenal health for most of his 81 years, maintaining the vigor of a much younger person. but contracted an inflammatory lung condition in late 2017, which worsened over the winter. In early March he was hospitalized with the Ohio Veterans Administration, and did not recover.

I will continue the work of the Church. Dragon Waters, our beloved home for over 3 decades, which has hosted many of our church functions, is in the process of becoming home to one of our long-time students and dear friend, and will continue to function as the sanctuary it became under our stewardship. It will also continue to host some of the events we have facilitated over the years, and to be a welcome respite and retreat for friends and students.

Thanks to all who have supported our work for the last 3 decades. I hope you will continue to find spiritual aid and guidance through these offerings.
