From 1992 to 2010, once or twice each year, Bekki and Crow taught their Two-Week Advanced Healing Intensive, a powerful and challenging residential training held at Dragon Waters for no more than four people at a time. Over that time they trained over 40 individuals in the advanced healing techniques of shamanism, including Shamanic Extraction, Psychopomp, Soul Retrieval, and Shamanic Energy Healing. (See the Healing Services page for more information about these methods.)

In 2013 Bekki and Crow re-invented their relationship. No longer marital partners, they continued as co-ministers of the Church of Earth Healing, carrying on active teaching and healing careers, often in partnership, until Crow’s passing in April 2018. Bekki has resided in Ithaca, NY since 2013, but continues her ministry in Ohio, occasionally teaching in Athens, OH and at other locations. Because of this change, and for other reasons, they began to teach the Intensive coursework through year-long shamanic apprenticeships. Crow graduated two apprentice groups (a total of 5 practitioners) in Athens prior to his passing in 2018, and Bekki has taught in-person apprenticeships in 2016-17, 2017-18, and 2018-19, and a socially-distanced/on-line apprenticeship beginning in October of 2021 (a total of nine practitioners).

Not all of their graduates have gone on to form their own healing practices, and not all choose to maintain an internet presence or a page on the Church’s web site. If you are curious about whether a graduate is available for healing sessions near you, and is not listed here, please contact Bekki. Also some of our graduates are available for healing sessions via Zoom or by telephone.

Both Crow and Bekki have been known for rigorous expectations of their shamanic graduates, and know that the people who have been called to the training are exceptional healers.

Some students use this amazing work for their own healing. Some have an interest in shamanism and its power as a personal spiritual pursuit. Some work as healers in a variety of modalities for which shamanic practice is complementary. Some have the goal of becoming shamanic practitioners. All graduates are practitioners of high caliber. Bekki and Crow have always vetted their students carefully and require a high level of dedication to the path.

In 2007 we were privileged to present a paper, Revivalist Shamanic Practice in Non-Indigenous Communities in the US, at the 8th conference of the International Society for Shamanistic Research in Hungary, in which we told some stories of the healings performed by some of our Intensive graduates from previous years. If you are interested in these stories of healing you can read the paper here.

Intensive graduates and graduates of our apprenticeship programs have been invited to have a page on this website, and some have chosen to do so. They share their journeys on the shamanic path, and their contact information (where applicable) for potential clients.
